How Does the Psychotherapy Sessions Work?

Psychotherapy, often referred to as talk therapy, is a method used to help people overcome mental health difficulties or other emotional challenges. During talk therapy, a licensed counselor helps guide a person to better understand themselves and learn to live a more satisfying life. Dr. Ingram utilizes this talk therapy in individual, family, couples and group counseling to find core issues and address them in a therapeutic manner.

What is the Billing/Payment Process Like?

Sessions for individual counseling $160 for 45 minutes and couples counseling is $195 for 55 minutes. Group counseling sessions are $100 for 75 minutes. Payments for each session are due at the beginning of each session. We accept payments by check, credit card, Venmo or PayPal. (PayPal will charge an additional 3% for service charges). If you miss a session or cancel a session less than 24 hours in advance, you will be charged the full session fee (illnesses and emergencies are exceptions on to be reviewed case by case.)

We have a client intake form and a client release of information form that should be completed before any psychotherapy sessions. We have links to these forms for you to fill out and email or print listed here.
